Wild...
In an effort to keep myself on the night schedule (as I'll be observing again in a couple of nights), I meandered over to see Ginny at her telescope. It happens to be full moon at this time (Mars is looking quite nice right next to it!) and it was really kind of odd that I could see perfectly well enough to not have my flashlight on at all.
I think this picture captures it the best:

I took this picture just outside of the WIYN telescope.
The main dome is that of the 0.9 meter (I think it had just a bit more visual interest than most) and the partial one on the right is the twin of the BNC out at HLCO :)

It was close to a full moon when I was out there a few years back. It definitely has a nice peaceful and serene feel to it. Good luck!
